1: Zak has evidence, and witnesses that signed legal documentation, and put this information out before trying legal procedures as a LAST RESORT.

2: Zak has been harassed or openly lied about by many people, and by some of these people since the start of his RPG involvement as a public figure, as have his players.

3: He paints pictures of people. Mostly women, and people that do not get a lot of representation in the medium. He also has and does plays games with, interacts socially with women, and is and was good friends with a litany of REAL women that are consistent and verifiable people.

People such as Kimberly Kane, Sasha Grey, Michelle Ford, Vivka, Stoya, Caroline Pierce, Scrap Princess, Bailey Jay, Fiona Geist, Frances Fernandez, Satine Phoenix, Elana Hill, Mandy Morbid, and many others have all vouched or talked or gamed or worked with Zak.

4: He has consistently held these friends in a positive light until some stopped being friends, and all who have been in close contact physically and in living, social, or emotional situations or professional settings vouch for him OR have career reasons to stay silent (see #5).

5: People like Scrap Princess, Cavegirl, Fiona Geist, Patrick Stuart, Ramanan S, Skerples, Ettin64, Robert Bohl, Fred Hicks, and what seems like a thousand other detractors may have interacted online, and even a little in person, but they did not live or interact the way all of Zak’s close friends have, and all those that were inextricably linked to his life during Zak and Mandys marriage vouch for him with a few exceptions. Stoya, Sasha Grey, Satine Phoenix, and some others have not said anything in his defense, but in addition, Stoya and Sasha Grey have shown no compunction with the #MeToo movement, and both have gone against abusers, such as James Deen. So in effect, them not going agaist Zak speaks volumes if they are willing to rail against abusers. This means they either have career concerns, personal reasons to not get involved, or have not seen anything abusive. Potentially all three.

When I asked Zak about this, he said personal reasons.

Now, some people have claimed these people who legally signed in defense of Zak don't exist, or that they had limited involvement, or that they are being pressured and abused and coerced into vouching for him. Some claim sockpuppetry is afoot.

This is despite them being a verified person, a public figure, and a person you could REACH OUT TO PUBLICLY TO ASK QUESTIONS. Guess what the detractors did?

That is right, NO research, NO questions, NO asking Zak, NO asking his witnesses, NO apologies, NO proof, and by all current accounts, no leg to stand on.

ANYONE who claims these things must have not read Zak and company's statements, or reached out to them for comment.

These people just avalanched and then refuse to give apologies, correct their assumptions, answer questions, provide proof or engage in any kind of research or consideration of fact.

Somehow, being wrong and spreading it means these people will claim things, then never right their wrongs.

It runs all over everything we want in a community.

We have to talk about things like this, if the community you want to work in, to be in, to coexist and help flourish is literally censoring something, something is seriously wrong. When there are banned books, banned topics, banned names and concepts, SOMETHING is WRONG.

And when things go wrong, we need to fix them, even those that didn't start the problems, and especially the instigators and problem starters.
