The savage camp of cannibals led by Happuch Tirztah. Notable for the tied giant.

Giants heal much faster than humans, and while it may seem that a long living race would have a slower metabolism, with giants, this is inverted. They have an incredibly fast metabolism that constantly forces them to seek out and consume, but when not able to eat, they auto-cannibalize. However, this can be exploited by cutting into a giant while alive, and damaging it. This tricks the giant’s natural defenses into continuing to grow back faster and faster. This allows the cannibal camp to feed refuse and offal and general garbage to the giant to keep it alive, and by timing this they can produce large qualities of food very easily. Therefore they are able to survive very easily.

Well, that and the cannibalism.
