Akaver
“Fuck you” says the ice
it curses spits and cracks
it arches gaps and bleeds down walls
Snarling habitual snaps
It seeks a toll, a price
and relies on two small facts
People will take falls
judgment always has a lapse
Akaver is an unusual; if not unique ice formation.
It is formed between the gaps to either side of the crevasse on HEX and H EX – and is very strategically valuable, as the crevasse there has been the source of many curious happenings.
Trash from Griddon is hauled and dumped into the crevasse here, and the actual ice bridge, Akaver, is a choke point to anyone trying to navigate the crevasses that lattice the lands around Griddon – so Akaver is important when formed between MONTH and MONTH.
Down in the crevasse is DIAGRAM
Here is a DIAGRAM of Akaver.
