Information

Apologies for my absence.

I have been very busy, for a while simply because I was prepping to run games, right now due to school and a mystery project.

Because of my scheduling (school and posts and projects), things stack up fast if I slow down, and I intend to make spells and rooms equivalent to the length of absence, but for now, I am too busy.

It is my final semester of school, hopefully, and I have a senior exhibition to make things for - along with a horribly taxing all-encompassing hard and scary and beautiful and intense mystery project that will affect all platforms and interactions I have once it is revealed - for now - I will be doing the second haunted house blogpost on my day off, and hopefully continuing to chip away at my play report and reflections about the con games I ran recently.

As for bigger projects than the daily posts, my book Glass Eyes of God is still being considered and worked on, two of the five games I ran at the con were adventures that will find a home inside it, and I have gotten some sparse feedback on the book's current draft from people who graciously agreed to take a look if they found the time, both text and visual aspects.

Next pass will hopefully be at least half of the locations in a playable form, with map and information about what and who is there, then polishing those locations - beyond that is more spell formatting and adding and fixing poetry.

I still am undecided on how to stat and configure all the NPCs, but that will happen during the process of making the locations.

As for the survival and top-level rules like weather and scrying and other such continent/area sized concerns, lots of additions and more of a "choose what you want" kind of thing will be fleshed out, my current understanding/conception is that I should make a lot of rules, then have some printed suggestions on which to use to support the style of game that the referee wants to present.

There's also tons and tons of art yet to be used, and lots of art to be made.

I have been hesitant to blog about the book, but I might start putting it up, just as a way to track progress and get feedback - but currently nobody comments, it they do comment it is very sparse, so there is not much of a reason to do that.

So I guess if I see some comments that are interested in those kinds of posts, I will make more of a push to start doing that.

For now, I'll just keep working on lots of stuff, and hopefully I can find a day or two at some point to catch back up - but there is the potential for a (continued) hiatus of all daily or every three day posts just due to how much I'm juggling.

Thanks!
