Room 114
114- Money Counter’s Quarters
There is a doorway to the north, the door is made of oak, with a brass doorknob – it is locked and closed.
This room is cramped, and looks like a bedroom.
The floor is wood and the walls are papered. Light is provided by wall lamps, but these are not lit.
The bed is vacant, the desk in a disarray.
The papers and utensils convey quite clearly that the room was used for counting money – and looks as if whoever was doing this accounting was also living out of the space.
Careful reading of the accounts will reveal inconsistencies – the embezzled money is in a space on the floorboards, a loose joint – this can be found with a successful search roll as well.
Down there in a slightly dusty space is 200 SP worth of bills and 100 SP in silver coins.
The room is roughly 15X30 feet, each hallways/passage in and out is around 5 feet wide.
