Vyzee

Duration: Until the caster chooses to revert

Range: 0

The caster and their possessions are rapidly transmogrified into a green fluid slime – they retain their HP, but all skills and abilities otherwise are altered in the following fashion.

When the initially turn into slime they choose liquid or solid form.

All saves Vs are automatically a success.

All damage is halved.

As an action they may shift from liquid to solid – liquid allowing easy movement and effective AC 17, also making it possible to squeeze through virtually any space – whilst solid grants the ability to take a recognizable form that can grasp items and interact as normal with the world, but has an effective AC of 10.

They have no skills unless they are solid – including magic.

If liquid they may flatten out – and are bouncy – anything that bumps or collides with them will bounce 30’.

The slime is filled with tiny bubbles that constantly rise to the surface – it sounds like an open can of soda in a quiet room, and anytime the slime moves it squeaks like rubber.

Miscast Table (Roll this in secret)

1 – The spell is permanent until dispelled.

2 – When the caster reverts – they revert in whatever form they were in, so potentiality a pile of meat, or whatever alien solid form they chose.

3 – When the caster reverts, swap their gender, if applicable.

4 – The gas the slime offputs is highly flammable.

5 – They take double damage instead of half damage.

6 – When/if they change from liquid to solid – mark down each time, and then when they revert, reroll a single stat for each freeze/melt. If they reroll all stats, then every morning from now they reroll all their stats when they wake up.

7 – When they revert, they revert nude – without any of their possessions.

8 – When they revert, all seems normal – but the next time they take damage they recast Vyzee, and it automatically miscasts.

9 – They automatically fail saves instead of succeeding.

10 – They revert as normal – but at the worst possible time in the future – this is at the referees discretion – they forget their form and might try to bounce, flatten, take a hit they cannot take, squeeze through an impossible gap, ETC.

11 – The spell takes much more out of the caster than they thought it would – and when they revert they are ravenously hungry – Follow the directions under Starvation in Rules and Magic as if the caster has not eaten in 24 hours – and do this every 10 minutes until they eat at least a rations’ worth of food.

12 – At first, the caster might think everything is fine, but instead of turning into a Vyzee slime – they are instead turned into a green slime – and can only revert if they successfully save vs magic as their character’s normal number instead of taking an action for turn.
