83 – Dampened Lead Room

The doorway to the east, west and south are all oak with brass doorknobs, the west is unlocked and open, the east locked, and the south closed but unlocked.

The room also has a small door that is painted grey to the east, towards the middle of the room – and this leads to a closet, which contains six mops, a broom, and three wooden buckets.

The room proper has a rack of dirty looking coats and galoshes, they are dirty and old.

If the players search the room and succeed, they will find a strange aspect to the room – it is silent, which is unusual for this place, which has wind and far-off sounds nearly all the time.

An architecture roll will reveal that the rooms walls are plated with lead, and if the players look closely at the floor (This is revealed if they succeed the search or not), they will see obvious markings where shelves and desks likely sat.

The sound dampening has nothing to do with the lead plating, and instead has a lot to do with the next sector.

The room is roughly 14X25 feet, each hallways/passage in and out is around 5 feet wide.
