Bubble Dream
Duration: Till the bubble is popped
Range: 0
The caster creates a thin greenish-yellow bubble around them, and begin to float lazily – if the bubble is hit it pops. The bubble’s AC is 10.
While in the bubble, the caster can, as an action:
1. Float in a direction 30’
2. Create an illusion of something within 50’ of the caster, it pops like a bubble if hit, max size is 6X6X6 – they persist until popped.
3. Reverse initiative order
4. Touch someone else gently with the bubble, and create a bubble around them
5. Add to the bubble’s AC by one
6. Voluntarily pop the bubble
They may also float 5’ a turn as a free action.
Miscast Table
1 – The six actions that can be taken normally by the caster while in the bubble are picked randomly each turn, by tolling a D6.
2 – The bubble automatically takes these actions – float up 30’, float up 30’, float 30’, then Voluntarily pop the bubble.
3 – Anything within 30’ of the caster and their bubble is treated as an illusion, it pops like a bubble if hit.
4 – Whoever pops the bubble gains an extra action that turn.
5 – The bubble is not a dream, it is a nightmare! The caster automatically creates illusions of a creature as a free action each turn, and these creatures will seek and attack the caster, and the caster alone.
6 – The bubble is just around their head, which separates from their body, and the head floats around in the bubble and acts as normal. While the head is separated, the body spurts blood out of the neck, which makes the body/PC take D6+1 Dmg each turn of separation. The head will immediately reconnect if touched to the neck stump.
7 – The bubble and caster are very light, and any kind of wind or movement nearby will move the bubble uncontrollably 10’ with the movement of the air.
8 – When the bubble pops the caster falls out – but is sleeping, dreaming the deepest of dreams. They will wake in D8 days, with fantastic stories of imagined vistas and worlds explored.
9 – The bubble is acidic, when it bursts anyone, including the caster, within 30’ is sprayed with acid. Treat this as a breath save – and failure will deal 1D8 damage and leave permanent acid burns.
10 – The bubble does not start around the caster – instead it is separate from the caster and will move independently, trying to get to the most powerful being in the room, and encasing them.
11 – Everyone in line of sight of the caster gets a bubble, but not the caster.
12 – The bubble does not float, it bounces! Each bounce is 10’ high, and arcs about 20’ – every collision on a surface has a 50% to pop the bubble – and going at that speed and colliding onto something will hurt – about 2D6 damage.
