55 – Research Room

This room is connected without doorways to the adjacent rooms, for ease of use.

It is filled with several bookshelves and two desks – and wandering around sorting books are two Assistants in Lead. One is sorting alphabetically - the other by page length, so nothing is ever properly sorted.

Assistants in Lead

Special Immune to sleep, mind altering magic, and normal style mechanical immunities – Made of lead

They take simple commands – but these commands must be followed with the proper planetary body to be executed fully or correctly.

Venus – Anything audacious

Mars – Any Violent Commands

Uranus – Anything that takes skilled work

Pluto – Any kind of Resetting or fixing

Sol – Anything about gardening

Earth – Anything alchemical

Jupiter – Any kind of information interpretation

Mercury – Any kind of information transfer

Saturn – Anything that needs to occur at a specific time

Neptune – Anything that is vague and needs interpretation

As for the books throughout the room – there are about 500– And each search for a book takes 1d20X3 minutes. Each searcher reduces this by 3 minutes each. Use this table to generate names. Roll a D20, then read across the result, or roll again for each column. That book will then give an answer pertinent to its subject matter 1d6 times on a search roll with INT modifier. (Answer number is a secret roll by the DM)

Anything with the ( ) is optional unless reading across.

 

The room is roughly 23X14 feet, and the bookshelves in the middle are 10x5 - each hallways/passage in and out is around 5 feet wide.
