Room 33

33 – Scullery

This rooms oak door has an iron knob, it is locked form the inside. The outside is Covered in scratch and clawmarks.

This room is used for washing dishes, cooking food for servants and employees, and sometimes sleeping if cots are drawn in.

There is one old cot up against a corner, two basins full of very old and dry and rot covered dishes, the water long since evaporated.

There is a small blackened clay hearth, bricks cracked and fire long burnt out.

There is a bag that used to contain onions, and one that contained potatoes – now they are reduced to a black smear of goop, staining the burlap sack.

There are several burnt out candles and evidence of where the candles were moved over time.

Huddled in a corner of the room is a black and grey body, mummified and dry – it is wearing a blue dress. If examined very closely, it is obviously not a woman, or even a child – maybe not even a person, though it is certainly organic.

The hallway nearby has tracks in the dust – tracks of the Onion Manticore – From Room 9 and random encounters.

The room is roughly 25X15 feet, with each hallways/passage in and out is around 5 feet wide.
