This cave has one entrance shaft and after ta few ledges and passages, but it dead-ends. It is 1000 ft in vertical height.

Here is a fever dream style story about Alphabet route.

Grotto Grotto looked at the black rope in his hands and felt scared.

He walked over to the ledge and reflected on his tall surroundings. He had always hated the darkness of alphabet route, and berkant pothole with its soft, slippery stone. It was a place that encouraged his tendency to feel scared.

Then he saw something in the distance, or rather someone. It was the figure of Pitch Pitch. Pitch was a bold climber with sweating features many scars.

Grotto gulped. He glanced at his own reflection in the slippery stone. He was tough, determined.

But not even a tough person who had once brought himself back from the brink of death, was prepared for what Pitch had in store today.

Grotto began to climb up, above the ledge and out.

The wind blew like climbing rats, making Grotto sway on the rope.

As Grotto crept up and Pitch came closer, he could see the late glint in his eye.

"I am here because I want Climbing," Pitch bellowed, echoing up and out of the shafts.

Grotto looked back, even more beaten and still fingering the black rope. "Pitch, the third Pitch," he replied.

They looked at each other.

Pitches face down and drawn, looking for a way out.

Suddenly, Pitch lunged forward and tried to stab Grotto in the legs. Quickly, Grotto grabbed the black rope and brought his feet down on Pitch's face.

Pitch's sweating knees trembled and his scarred legs wobbled. He looked scratched bloody, his body weak like a loose, lonely lamp.

Then he let out an groan and collapsed off the ledge. Moments later Pitch Pitch was dead after a long fall in the dark.

Grotto watched the rope sway as the body fell.

It looked like there was no way out.
