Room 103
103 – Whirling Whist Elemental
There is a doorway to the top-west, the door is made of oak, with a brass doorknob – it is unlocked but closed.
There is a doorway to the bottom-west, the door is made of oak, with a brass doorknob – it is locked and closed.
There is a doorway to the east, the door is made of oak, with a brass doorknob – it is unlocked but closed.
In the room are five spaced out tables – oak and well worn, and at each are 8 chairs.
When anybody enters the room – a sudden wind and shift of air will commence, and dust will shuffle across the floor – each table has a deck of cards on it, or several – and these will be caught in the wind and fly crazily through the air.
A voice will float like hair in honey – dropping on the players from just behind them, above them, from the tables – all at once.
The voice will tell them to be seated at tables of their choosing – and if they sit, the wind will push the cards around and deal hands – the elemental knows EVERYTHING about whist, and will happily deal to people forever.
It cannot be seen or attacked – if there are no cards or too many damaged cards – it will disappear forever – back to gambling halls in some distant realm.
It does not keep them here, and will let them go - but it loves to play whist, and that is about it.
I HIGHLY suggest actually playing whist – it could be fun!
The room is roughly 24X15 feet, each hallways/passage in and out is around 5 feet wide.
